Snow and Smiles

The past two months have been filled with snow and smiles. Jackson lived it up for three days in our first significant snow since we moved to Knoxville. Aidan is laid back with a streak of temper. He has found that nothing beats sucking on his two middle fingers on his left hand. We are having a hard time remembering what life was like before kids and enjoying every moment with them.

Merry Christmas

Christmas with a toddler is a blast. It took two hours to unwrap the gifts, and boy was that fun. We finished the day with by singing the "Birthday" song to Jesus and eating cake Jackson made. It was an awesome way to celebrate the real reason we have Christmas.

We have survived 2 months as a family of four and everyone seems to still like each other. We are really looking forward to the next few weeks with lots of holiday parties and, of course, Christmas morning.

Like most two-year-old boys, Jackson is fascinated with construction equipment. He had the pleasure of sitting in the driver's seat of this bulldozer last week.

What cuties

Here are some quick pics of the boys. We are managing to survive remarkably well as a new family of four. Some attitude adjustments are being made by the three older members as we accomodate our newest addition. Jackson really likes his little brother and shows it with tons of kisses and hugs.

He's here!

Aidan was born on Oct. 14, 3 days late, with a lot of extra encouragement from the doctor. Big brother Jackson has fallen into his new role like a pro.

Here is a side-by-side comparrison of the two little guys at 4 days old (Jackson, then Aidan). Wow do they look alike.

Apples galore

With our second October boy due in 4 days, we have been trying to squeeze in as many fall activities as possible. Today we hit the apple orchard and got to taste as we went. Jackson ate 4 or 5 different kinds of apples and loved every one.
